The Shopify Plus team needed a way to ease the process of onboarding new hires. Understanding the Plus customer is important for the sales team at Shopify, who may come into contact with multiple types of companies during the sales cycle.

These printed, hand-held playing cards are used as both an informational reference for existing team members, and a knowledge tool for new team members. There are five different categories of common Shopify Plus customers based on numerous factors such as company size, willingness to spend, needs, number of stakeholders involved and deal killers.
